BLURB: Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope is a collection of thoughts, memories, and emotions in the form of art and poetry bound together to tell the story that many people go through as they embark on the journey of finding themselves. Each page is it’s own testimony of love, heartbreak, trauma, and survival, painting a picture of community through individual experiences.

If you say this appeals to you, I’ll say you’re lying.

BLURB: Nowhere to Run: A Bite Size Paranormal Romance – Book One

Megan is special, she’s magic. Living in Newark New Jersey, working as an IT consultant she is hiding a terrible secret. Hiding from the people that hunt her for her powerful abilities, hiding from her past…. until one day she comes face to face with pure evil. And instead of hiding, her true nature and magic puts her in the middle and places her life in danger.

Punctuation, for Pete’s sake.

BLURB: Loose Threads: Cool Assassins 1

“Loose Threads” is NOT for the squeamish or prudish. The narrative delves into controversial topics and contrary viewpoints.

Ooh, no thanks. I only enjoy novels which tell me exactly what I already think.

BLURB: Shadow Soldier

The story of J.D. Wilkes is the story of people’s lives, of hard times, of redemption, real life choices and real life consequences. One should put away preconceived notions of what defines a “Western” when considering Shadow Soldier. J.D. Wilkes is three dimensional, not always right and not always moral.

Yeah, I think someone already invented “anti-heroes” in Westerns about 50 years ago, chief.

BLURB: The Void Threatens (People of Vapor Book 1)

The Void Threatens is a dark and philosophical tale of epic proportions, done in a creative and entertaining way that promises to keep you coming back for more. It’s the result of combining the existentialism of Friedrich Nietzsche and Søren Kierkegaard with the classic high fantasy of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Impossible cities flourish in this world, and violent racism thrives and fuels a slavery industry that plagues the land. When a mysterious race of beings threaten the entire world, flawed and authentic people are forced to rise up and challenge these godlike foes. At its core, The Void Threatens is a tale of overcoming evil both on the outside and within. The void threatens everyone; will anybody be able to stave off the evil in this fallen world?

And I still feel like I’ve been told nothing.

BLURB: Little Ruby

The main character in this story is Ruby, a little red turtle. He is exceptionally curious. Because of this character trait, Ruby enters into a new experience in life, and learns something new as a result. In this story little Ruby wishes to fly in the sky among the clouds. In the end he realizes something even more wonderful. This book consists of twelve paintings (illustrations.) My aim in filling each page with vibrant artwork is to support children to develop their appreciation of the beauty of art with a grand palette of colors. If Ruby’s gained wisdom is shared with the young readers, then it will be an extra bonus. More stories of little Ruby will come out in a series of books. I hope each one will give readers as much joy as they have brought to me in creating them.

“Book description” is not the same thing as “artist statement.”

BLURB: The Final Letters: Fiction Becomes Real

A blonde and very attractive daughter of famous horror author Ivan Peterson moves back home with him while her own life begins a new turn. Cara discovers dark secrets about her father’s writing inspiration for his most popular recent book, “The Final Letters.” This book made Ivan, a fanatic of Earnest Hemingway, a large fortune.

Cara and the local sheriff, Adam begin a relationship and she reveals to him a discovery of strange hand written letters from her father’s writing room. Were people forced to write about the feeling of knowing they were about to be killed? Were these letters real?

The Great Northwestern Country of Washington State holds many surprises…

I assume you have to read the book to find out why it’s important to know up front that she’s “blonde and very attractive.”
