The art isn’t so bad, depending on where it came from and if the author has the right to use it. The font is very bad. I don’t see the pixilation on my tablet screen, (it’s the cheap kindle). In any case, making the illustration fill the cover space, if the original has enough resolution, and using a font that fits the genre and style of art in a better placement would give the cover a much more professional look.

The pixelation really shows up in full hi-res mode. In thumbnail and typical web ad size, it’s not as obvious.
If the author byline was in the orange space below the art, I would give this a pass. The font choice could be better.

I missed that, too. Although her neck is awfully long and she has no shoulder.
