That’s nothing compared to the “knuckle sandwich surprise” you’ll get from the owner of the neighborhood deli for sanctimoniously lecturing him about the benefits of a gluten-free diet.

I have a box of Kosher sea salt guaranteed gluten-free.
I imagine it could be serious for the sensitive (almost as bad a peanut allergy for some I understand). I get irritated and snarky when it’s trivialized like a diet fad.

As someone who reacts a bit poorly to gluten in moderate doses, I can state that very very few people want to read about that variety of surprise.
