Nothing says Persia like a 16th century Englishman.

Has Bill’s head been separated from his body?

(That is Bill, isn’t it?)

And what does a novelty lighter have to do with disembodying the heads of 16th century Englishmen?

Yes, the Lord of the Rings font is the perfect font for The Lord of Persia. As long as there’s a Lord in there somewhere, it’s cool.

Well if he can’t be Lord of the Rings, perhaps he can be Lord of the Pretty Birdie Brooch.

The red dripping text is just a reflection of the blood I am weeping at this cover.

“… scroll down… AAAGH …”

With my laptop I get the full “scroll down… AAAGH” LBC experience, but my handheld device tends to show the book covers at one fell swoop, no suspenders suspense. Which is why I prefer to visit LBC from my desk top. (Your mileage may vary depending on browsing conditions.)

The size of my browser window gives me the full scroll down effect too. It’s….enthralling.

It’s kinda Lord of the Rings…but I seem to recollect that you could read Lord, at least. Rather than Loro of whatever.

Man, this cover commits infanticide repeatedly.
