Ordinarily, I would say that a faceless human is just about the most effective way to show horror. In this case, however, I’m too distracted by the missing part of her skull to worry about her missing face.

This just makes me think of that faceless yoaki from Japanese folklore, only drawn really bad.
No nose or mouth? How is she breathing? Through her ears?
She has no nose!
How does she smell?
