1 + 2: This Is Only The Beginning
I’m certain there are high-def copies of Bruegel’s painting out there somewhere.

I don’t think that I want to see the end.
Hyronimus Bosch meets Salvador Dali, best two out of three?
It’s a detail from Pieter Brueghel’s “The Triumph of Death”.
I’m aware of that, I’ve just always wanted to make that comparison publicly, for once.
Ah! Apt comparison, that.
What’s really disheartening is that this book (with this cover) was published in 2014, long before the global shutdown in 2020 over an admittedly-nasty-but-severely-over-hyped augmented common cold virus. Now any use of Bruegel’s famous painting just looks like another scare tactic people will tend to filter out as background noise.
(Also, yes, I’m quite certain Triumph of Death is available as desktop wallpaper in at least 4K resolution.)
