It’s probably overly pedantic of me, but my first thought is, “The gravity on a planet that big is going to crush any humans who get near it. It doesn’t matter how many continents there are if you’ve been reduced to a paste of your component elements.”
My second thought is, “This is just the first of SEVEN? Oh, dear…”
Heck, a planet that large would have become a brown dwarf.
Maybe it’s hollow. Or maybe we’re just putting more thought toward this project than the author.
