Tempest is a wild ride from start to finish! Imagine living the same year over 2,000 times – that’s the life of Laura, our fierce and determined protagonist. The story keeps you on edge as Laura uncovers a massive conspiracy while trying to break free from this time loop. The stakes are high and the action is intense.
The international setting is a fun bonus – The UK, Spain, Brazil, and the USA all make appearances. And the F/F relationship is written with care, adding heart to this otherwise gritty adventure.
Be warned though, the book does not shy away from violence – it’s a battle of survival against a ruthless organisation that stops at nothing. But the pacing is spot on, and the tension keeps building, making it impossible to put down.
If you’re a fan of action-packed thrillers with a twist of sci-fi and a good helping of heartfelt moments, Tempest should definitely be on your reading list.
When I say, “Tell me about your story,” this is not what I mean.

The first big flag for me is: “a wild ride from start to finish.” Everything after that is either more flags or reenforcing flag poles.
Specifically, when we say “Tell us about your story,” we don’t mean “Brag about how awesome it’s (allegedly) going to be to read.” We mean “Give us a general overview summarizing who’s in it, what happens, what these characters do about it, and (above all) why we should care about any of this.” The old “Show, don’t tell” rule properly applied to sales page summaries like these is “If you have to tell the readers what to do with your story, chances are your writing sucks.”
Exactly. If your book is “impossible to put down,” I will know, because I will find it impossible to put down. Telling me that the book is impossible to put down just sounds like you’re protesting too much, along with vaguely making me wonder if you might have put glue on the pages.
Dude, that positive review you paid for doesn’t count as a blurb.
