As I had already guessed, this is notthe cover for the physical edition (which, probably not too coincidentally, is not available for sale anyway). Even so, this being for an electronic edition, it should at the very least have a much bigger byline and tagline, as those are both awfully difficult to read on any tiny screen where electronic books like these are likely to be viewed. It’s like the author is ashamed of attaching her name to this book for some reason.
With regards to the small byline, this may be a case where she feels obligated to put it on there but doesn’t really want anyone to know she’s responsible for this thing!

I had to enlarge the image to see that her by-line and a brief description even existed.
I recommend her for remedial cover design classes.
