We just got fiber internet out here in the middle of nowhere, and I must say the usability of “New Covers for Old” has improved dramatically.
The page now loads much more quickly and all the old covers become visible almost instantly, instead of having to wait a minute or so for the old cutting-edge-of-20-years-ago speed to catch up.
The down side is that all the old covers become visible almost instantly, instead of being able to scroll past them while they are still blank, thereby avoiding the sensory overload.
