So what if the publisher is “haunted by several satanic ghosts that are all seeking to drive me crazy or kill me.” What I really need to know is, does he take unagented manuscripts?
Shades of…damn, what was the name of that HYSTERICAL book agent’s blog on whatsits? Oh, god. Slushpilehell. Funnies thing I’ve ever read. I cried like a little girl when he stopped posting after 3-4 years.
I go back and re-read it, about once a year. Damn, if I could write like that guy, I’d be writing books, not pimping them. Jesus, I lost it a few times whilst reading those…in a great fun way.

He is (was) a divine cross between Erma Bombeck, Dave Barry and George Carlin. Just…puuurrrrfect. I keep trying to weasel him out and beg him to return to it–because I’m hopelessly selfish that way.
