In today’s installment of New Covers For Old 2021, we have an above-average assortment of revisions which are simultaneously (a) a great improvement upon the original and (b) worthy of inclusion at LBC in their own right. (And yes, at least one sucker-punch.)

Crocodile—No difference
Silver—Have to give some credit for actually making it worse
Blankie—An improvement even though it conveys almost nothing about the theme of the book
Moving Day—Only better by comparison
Raven—Nope
Candy—Oh, gosh…it comes so close. If only there were even a hint about the nature of the story.
Possession—A step backward from what was already bad
Thought—No difference.
Lilium—A tough call since I sort of know the author via another site…but the new cover is a step backward
Immortals—Another step in the wrong direction
Candy, murder and me or Before Coronavirus, After Coronavirus.
I see more “award winning authors” that have never figured out how to hire a cover artist. Gold star!
