Something is strange about those fingernails. The thumb one looks Photoshopped on and some of the others are too narrow. (For the record, I am a woman and currently wearing black nail polish and I notice these things…)

Also, the mummy wrappings (?) on the arm make the woman look like she has a skin disease.

In Egyptian mythology, mummies are noted for their poor trigger discipline. It’s nice to see a cover which recognizes this.

“Finger off the trigger until your sights are on your target.”
That’s it mummy: you’re banned from this range.

Stretchy bandage on the wrist must be for carpal tunnel syndrome of having to hold the gun *just right there” for the photographer.

The name of the character in the book is Olivia Siris. I get the pun, but shouldn’t the book be called “O. Siris” or “O-Siris”?

Took me three looks to see the dangly thing is mummy bandages. It still looks more like a second, badly deformed hand dangling off the wrist.

And yes, there’s something weird going on with that thumbnail.
