Meh. Gosh knows we’ve seen worse covers, and there’s something about this one’s (apparently) deliberate avoidance of trite and cliched “prettiness” that appeals to me. Fix the horrible font (“SmaWrook”?), crop out the really boring part of the picture at the top, maybe put a border around the picture, and I’d call this an interesting cover.
I’d call it salvageable (in the direction Karl suggests) but not without a finer eye to do the deed. Reminds me of a chapbook sort of publication–simple and inoffensive but not terribly special.
