So many “fix everything but the problem” revisions in this batch…
I’ve had to look through thousands and thousands of previously posted covers to come up with the three hundred replacement covers featured in this year’s New Covers For Old. And what really stuns me is all of the covers that haven’t changed — obvious typos, amateurish art, and other significant problems that the authors decided, “No, that can be the face of my book forever.”
There are a couple of sucker-punches in here that, if I had the conscience God gave a flea, would fill me shame. Too bad I’m remorseless.
In today’s installment of New Covers For Old 2021, none of the revised covers would have earned a place here at LBC. That’s really remarkable, considering.
