If there’s one thing more optically jarring than a pseudo-human on the cover, it’s a pseudo-horse.
A pony, you mean. My own horse’s withers (shoulders) were over my head–and I’m not a short woman, by any stretch.
Even the horse looks dubious about this cover.
he’s got the side-eye going on pretty much perfect
I can’t stop laughing at the look on the horse’s face! All that’s missing is a word balloon that says “Eh. It’s a living.”
