Somewhere, waaaay back in the evolution of this cover, it seemed like a good idea.
I don’t give a crap WHO thought it was a good idea, when. Once they saw how awful it was, they should have tanked it. Unless both the author AND the cover designer are blind. That’s the only excuse.

Without void, so, not hollow – also known as solid. Formless solid would have thus been more to the point. Or a Solid Lump of Awful.
