If horse racing is such an important part of the story, why aren’t the horses featured front and center? Were they late to the cover shoot, or did the photographer only have one frame of film left and a bad case of premature shutterbug?

What’s more boring than a distant shot of a building or other structure? A building shot that doesn’t even fill the cover, forcing you to add a weird border frame, a drop shadow, and a boring background color. Snore…
