My favorite character is the rather squat grey bird in the top right corner. He looks like he’s seen a more interesting cover somewhere beyond the dragon and is thinking about flying over to it…
It looks like a chihuahua was the model for the “dragon”!

I thought he was cutting off his leg. It’s called Bran’s Leg right. And that’s why the dragon/chihuahua looks so happy. Dinner! (I know it’s actually legacy, but it took me too long to read it so I decided it says leg).
Why’s the dude dressed like a Roman? Oh, hell why am I worried about that with so much massive suckage?
As a dedicated Celtophile and one who studies Irish myth and legend I can hardly look at this cover without feeling insulted for every one of us with Celtic blood. Think I’ll just heft a claymore and slay the beast.
