I think the teeny tiny triangular thingie is supposed to be a space capsule of some sort. Too bad it’s about to be crushed by that falling meteorite shaped like a snub nose Smith & Wesson.

I think it’s a groundhog peeking out from its hole. A polar groundhog, judging from its markings.
