Well, it damn sure ain’t outer beauty.
If I fiddle with aspect ratio, the squished gals can look good, but then squashed sweatyface gets uglier.
I don’t understand what lousy book cover designers see in fiddling with aspect ratio, but this one has squashed and squished elements both.

Okay, the stretching is in the wrong direction, but still it’s pretty funny. And it applies to a huge number of covers here on LBC.
The girls look real, but they don’t quite match.
I see two faces with different aspect ratios.
They must be fraternal twins.
I thought it was Kylie and Kendall.
Why is there as triangle on the cheek and ear of the girl on the left? Covering a watermark or recognizable tattoo?
Believe it or not, I think it’s an earring.
Yeah, it is. I’ve seen earrings shaped like that before. And it’s shape kinda matches her eye makeup.
There are also glinty metallic highlights on her lashes. On my tablet screen it looks like she has pierced eyelids, which, ick.
