Isn’t that the bus that was blown up on 7/7? And it’s used on the cover of a novel? That exceeds bad taste, I don’t think there’s a polite word for using that image. (reversed, perhaps to avoid copyright accusations?)
I thought it was a typo, but apparently Jams N. Roses is a pen name for James Ross.

Lord, is it? That would be an appalling display of bad taste, not to mention, presumably, somebody owns the rights to that image–no?
It is. It’s a famous news photo. They’ve reversed it and brightened the colours.
