They’re not only fascinated by the vulture’s feet, they love the vulture’s feet. In a creepy cult-like way.

so my first thought was to hope that “vanessa” was actually the vulture, and that was why the author used the word rotten in the title

then i clicked on the link and it was all true! it’s a kids book about a turkey vulture. which is actually kind of great, to my mind.

not enough for me to forgive the cover, but still pretty great.

I gotta agree with you on this. It sounds like a cute idea. Also, vultures are awesome.

Anyone else notice that the girl in pink has…well, a moustache? That’s what it looks like.

If you zoom in hires that’s just the way her smile is drawn. Draw back, it does look like she had chocolate milk from a glass during lunch.

Wait… so Vanessa is the vulture? Is she having a rotten day because she’s been turned into a vulture? Did she get a bad pedi and that’s why everyone’s looking at her feet? I’m confused. Maybe I should read this.

Why does the girl have a cartoon doggy face?

The two boys seem awfully happy, considering that both have their right shoulder dislocated. Either that, or the right arm is growing out of their chest.
