A Different Style

And in this case, “different” DOES mean “bad.”

First glance: “A Different Style” looks like a dark fudge sundae with brown chocolate topping in a green cup.

I thought so, too.

Also, I’m not sure a lot of thought went into the arrangement of other elements (on top of stylistic issues). That plugged in curling iron is hot-side-down in the same basket with hair brushes. You’d end up with a big melted plastic mess if you did that for real.

Yeah, I thought that I was looking at a kitchen mess. It took me a bit before I noticed the hair dryer and all the other hair care tools.

And this was done because there are no legible photos of women at hair salons on the internet.

Is it Algiers Week, or what?

Why is this woman sitting in a giant egg cup?

(Because she wouldn’t fit in a regular-sized one?)

Why also has she stuffed a load of tools in her toaster? And what part does the fishing net play in her daily haircare routine?

From a quick look at the book’s blurb, it has nothing to do with a Hair Stylist caught in a giant bowl of green gelatin. (or is that green-dyed cement?)

I thought it was a brown wig on top of an eggplant in a green cup.

Not very appetizing…

And sticking all those things in a toaster isn’t safe, either

Are those supposed to be brushes? combs? bottle brushes?

A dominatrix in an eggcup?

I think you should consider an additional tag for covers that use the Algerian/Glyphic font.
