Eh, the art’s not bad. It’s just in prismacolor, which is very difficult to make into a book cover. I’ve seen a few artists who could do it, quality wise, but they are few and far between. The style generated by colored pencil is simply rarely workable as a book cover.

Oh, come on! It would take, what, five minutes to fix this? And given how long this must have taken to write…
Seriously? This is what is posted???
omg, that is beautiful! i thought my tumblr as ****ed up but NO! now i want to know; how long has it been like this?
Don’t they look back at it when they upload? *SMH*
Ironically, one of the book’s reviewers says/shouts —
” […] THE ART WORK FOR THIS series IS BEAUTIFUL, THANK YOU,” (sic).
Perhaps they just think the dragon is modestly changing outfits behind a grey screen?
Now THAT is funny. I guess a dragon does need to shed it’s skin every once in a while. Evidently dragons are modest creatures.
Perfect cover for your 50% off promo.
Looking at the part of the cover that did load, maybe it’s a blessing that the rest of it didn’t load!

There are a few of these around http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bryce-Marie-Wadsworth/dp/159286323X published by a vanity publisher, so perhaps it’s the vanity publisher’s fault.
Although when you take into account that it’s actually meant to look like this, it’s probably an improvement. http://www.authorsden.com/WorksCover/9200.jpg
