I must agree it’s a better sketch than most that appear LBC; the gal’s expression is cynical and intriguing at thumbnail and amazon webpage sizes (but the title and author are hard to read at thumbnail). For 5×8″ paperback the art might be stretched thin. Title and author must be legible at all sizes used for web browsing for books.

I’ll blame shadowing with pencil or charcoal without smudging the lines.
The position of facial features, especially the mouth, is off just enough to make it unsettling.
