Is that the gnome or the statue? So the detective is nothing but a shadow puppet? Venus colony has only late 1800’s technology? (I read the synopsis.)
I am sure the book is a delightful read, but the cover just does not entice me to buy the book.

Can’t you just picture that troll clown behind the wheel of that jalopy running over Mr. Shadow man? I sure can and it makes me laugh. A lot.
