Staying Alive

As I’ve said, I appreciate minimalism as much as the next guy. However.

Yikes, and no by-line. Taking minimalism to a new extreme.

Now I’m gonna have that Bee Gees song stuck in my head. Thanks.
Anyhow, there’s minimalism, then there’s this. I’m aure the off-center title and lack of byline is some artistic thing, but it makes me want to grab the words and center them, and enlarge the font and, and… you know what? Just change the whole darn thing.

Looking at the cover,
You will quickly discover
It’s failing to thrive,
Failing to thrive.
Seeing how it’s failing,
On this book you’ll be bailing,
‘Cause it’s failing to thrive,
Failing to thrive.

Ah, ah, ah, ah,
Failing to thrive,
Failing to thrive.

Ah, ah, ah, ah,
Failing to thrive…
Oh, it sucks!

The solid color really shows off every detail of the JPG artifacts.

There’s minimalism, and then there’s Idon’tgiveashitilism.

Positive negatives:
No Papyrus, Comic Sans, Bleeding Cowboy.
No photo bombing wolfie.
No oval moon.
No cut’n’paste elements with conflicting light sources.
No cartoon/pseudo people pasted on photographic backgrounds.
No real people pasted on cartoon/CGI backgrounds.
No geologically impossible cut’n’paste landscape features.
