This reminds me a bit of a bad sci-fi movie from the fifties called The Floating Eye, which featured a giant eye floating in a cloud. That eye was far more interesting than this one though because that eye had tentacles which it used to grab people and pull them up into the cloud to devour them. Scared the heck out of me when I was five. This eye needs a few tentacles.

@Lydia now that reminds me of Snake and Bacon where they have the ad for cheesy horror comics. That one in particular was the annoying eye.
