Aside from the almost certain copyright issues from whatever game that character came out of, I actually think this is not a bad attempt compared to a lot of the others.
I agree. The girl is cute, even though her figure is a bit wonky. At least both the character and the background are 3D. The pic could use a bit of contrast and brightness adjustment, and the position of the title is unfortunate, but otherwise it’s a decent cover. I know it’s something you can always say on this site, but I’ve seen worse.
I have a deep hatred for 3-D rendered characters pasted over photos and used as book covers. It is almost as deep a hatred as I have for photos of people pasted over 3-D rendered landscapes.
You can certainly tell what era this is created in–the age of the Kardashian Big Booty. Someday I’ll get the hoohah over the fat-assed stuff (given that for my entire adult life, it was to be avoided like the plague), but…I guess we can say that this cover immortalizes it.
I’m with WarGoat–maybe these Pseudohumans are vestigial, from the online games? I don’t know, but I have yet to see one that’s really worthwhile. I feel for the author–s/he probably paid a pretty penny for the work, too.
