PI Binks: Lost In Merlin’s Crystal Ball

Yeah, you wouldn’t want words to obscure that illustration…

Is mitten-hands Merlin showing us a drink coaster, a Frisbee, or what?

I thought the author was PI Binks, but then it says that Andrew is responsible for the Story and Illustrations. Stephanie did the coloring… probably because she’s better at staying within the lines.

I thought the big round thing was one of those bathroom throw rugs, y’know? It’s better than the usual 2nd-Grade ashtray made from the kids’ hands, right? Probably set right down and rug-hooked that thing for Mom’s Day.

Does anyone else wonder what the thingamajig-bob is that looks like…an evil dragon? I thought that the red bits were part of a jester’s hat, but the more I look, the more I think that the author was implying a dragon. We need a DRAGON tag, Nathan! Something like “Dragon-Yer-Wagon.”

Papyrus, because Merlin was an Egyptian.

Pi Binks is a series title. There’s at least one other Pi Binks title.

I see a dragon flying behind Merlin’s head. I see Merlin holding a snow globe containing two kids and clouds (guess that makes it a kid’n’cloud globe).

I…don’t know what to say. And his author bio is exactly as ‘wacky’ and ‘OMG I’m soo0 RandUm lol’ as the picture. Gag me.

I want to believe that he’s some kind of performance artist.
