I think the author is also missing letters in the title. Maybe it should read: “Desperately Wanting”?
Consequently, there’s a new cover showing up on Amazon.

So this is an alternative history Batman where the Joker is female?
This would actually be an excellent book cover for a novel about a manic, unhinged woman whose adventures fascinate us because you never know what jaw-droppingly insane she’ll do with a grin on her face.
Unfortunately, it appears to be a standard romance. (Standard = no insanity.)
