Yeah, that cover should entice all those middle-grade readers.

I knew smart phones were getting bigger, but this one is three times as big as that hat. If Davey and Derek stuff it in their backpack, it will still be sticking out, because that phone looks to be about twice the length of a laptop. How did they even lose something that huge?

Yeah, I was going to guess that the dog ate it, but now I’m thinking that maybe the phone ate the dog.

And who the hell uses a single maraca?

Maraca? it is obviously a microphone with a large foam head.

(PLease folks, go to a book store or even a public library and look at successful book covers before designing your own.)

I thought it might be a gieger counter, since a phone that big might need a nuclear reactor to power it. Just follow the beeps to find your missing phone.

(And yes, as Naaman said, go to a bookstore and find out what a book cover is supposed to look like before trying to make one yourself)

It’s a really small saucepan.

Basicly, it’s a round light blue-grey thing with a black handle.
But, it is under an image that appears to be a deerstalker cap.
Hmmm, it could be intended to be a magnifying glass.
How did I come to that deduction? Elementary.

That magnifying glass is TOTALLY not required for that cellphone!

Oh, I deduced that too. But a magnifying glass works best with CLEAR glass. That one is so opaque that you probably couldn’t find the sun looking through it.
