Miss Hewitt Investigates a Murder of Crows

I think my new term for this is “a murder of fonts.”

How do we know those blobs are actual crows, and not ravens or blackbirds?

Okay – once you start the italics, how do you stop them??? putting after the word (no spaces of course) did nothing…

Akshly, Kris, I’m pretty sure those suckers aren’t Crows, Blackbirds OR Ravens.

What I want to know is why Ms. Hewitt isn’t Jnvestigating why that title is a bloody direct lift (and I think even the font is, ditto) from the movie of the same name. And while investigating: Three font crimes. {sigh}.

My uncle taught me a trick to shooting crows in a tree: if you shoot a crow out of the top branches, the other crows will see it fall past them and they’ll scatter; so, you shoot the ones in the lowest branches first. That way you can massacre a whole murder of crows.

PosRein: This cover does say ‘cozy mystery novel’ pretty effectively. Hell, it practically shouts it at you.
