Looks like the Cover Designer got hit in his drawing hand.
I can’t see the name Cassidy Yates without thinking of Ben Sisko’s girlfriend on Deep Space Nine. So I’m just going to assume that this takes place in a holosuite at Quark’s, and the somewhat glitchy appearance of the scenery and NPCs are because the many, well-known issues with Cardassian engineering.
I don’t think someone got their latinum’s worth.
