I think it’s probably better if we just don’t ask what they’re planning to do with the peacock.

And, yes, if you’re writing a romance novel with the word “whole” in the title, partially covering up the “l” is the absolute worst thing you could do.

Clearly, they don’t know how much adult peacocks weigh… or took a good look at their feet. Those spurs are quite sharp.
