It didn’t occur to the cover designer to scrub out the (now long-defunct) Comics Code Authority’s seal and logo? Also, that’s a pretty curious choice of covers for a book that isn’t a graphic novel.
I think the (AI-garbled) CCA logo was an intentional part of the comic-book vibe.
