Because we can’t really call them “winners,” can we?
I’ve made so many of your pore over these covers repeatedly, so I’m going to trim the list down to the five worst covers featured here in 2025:

With the new voting scheme, you won’t have to be subjected to as many repeated horrors when we do this again next year. (That’s right… We’re doing this again next year.)

Do we ever want to see the all time lousiest of the lousies?
I need a bit of brain bleach after seeing this.
And to think that at some point, someone looked at these and declared them perfect. Oh, my summer children.
I don’t know if we could ever determine the absolute WORST of all time. Remember: The barrel has no bottom.
There’s a limit to everything, but bad taste.
# 5, 4 & 3: Well deserving of their places here. But, though puzzling and/or ridiculous, not really hard to look at.
#2: Yeah. Eat a bunch of clip art and vomit it onto the book cover. Certainly a deserving… whatever it is.
But #1? Oy. It definitely deserves the “award” for worst of 2025. I’m just sorry we had to look at it again.
Good job (as usual).
I’m ging to grab some eye wash now…
At least Maximillion St John stayed home this awards season.
Amen.
