Into The Void Volume One is a horror anthology book with some of the best short stories put to pen and paper. Whether you love the grotesque, frightening, or simply strange sides of fiction this book is for you. Great heroes, horrifying monsters, and heartless killers. All of these and more await you in the void. This is your formal invitation to enter this terrifying realm known as the void. But do remember, don’t get lost during your journey, or you may end up in volume two.
I love me some hubris.

That actually sounds more like the premise to a horror story: an arrogant writer, convinced that he’s “the best…[who] put…pen [to] paper,” brags about how he’s created the greatest horror collection ever, and awakens some Lovecraftian monstrosity who decides to show him what true horror is.
Oh, and while it’s tangential to the main point here, if all of these stories are “written by Reign Ragsdale,” as the byline implies, then this isn’t “a horror anthology”; a book of stories that are all by one person is usually referred to as a collection, not an anthology. I would expect “the best…[who] put…pen [to] paper,” to know that.
Yes, but on the other hand, you would also expect the best who put pen to paper not to actually SAY that about himself.
The best to put pen to paper, (or word processor to printer) would know better than to start a blurb with any variation of “This a book that…”
You would expect ‘the best to put pen to paper’ to know that but lot of writers who think they are the best don’t know that. Obliviously.
NOOOOOOO!!!! For the love of GOD, don’t let me end up anywhere NEAR VOLUME TWO!!!
