As someone who’s well aware of her own shortcomings as an artist, I always hate to criticize the attempts of other people, but I honestly looked at that picture and said, “What the heck? Why is the cop’s face melting into some sort of tentacled monstrosity?” It took me a while to figure out we were seeing her from the back and that was supposed to be her hair.
No, I can’t do better, but I’m also not putting my drawings on the covers of books that I then put up for sale.
I have, and I would edit the bejeebers out of them. There are still too many that I’m ashamed of.
