Stop the world, I wanna get off. (The cover says Volume Seven, but the Amazon title says Book 8…)
In the interest of fairness, I should say that I don’t think that the Volume Seven/Book 8 thing is Mr. Wilson’s fault. It looks like he has a prelude story set before Volume One, but Amazon automatically numbers the books in a series starting with the first one published, and I don’t think there’s any way to get it to zero-index.
The rest of the cover’s sins, however, are all on him.
