As for that weird leaf bundle behind him, it remind me of the playing Minecraft where you harvest a tree but leave behind a few branches just floating in the sky. If you stare at it, it starts to feel like a portal to another world.

Generally, I’m not one of those people who complain about cultural appropriation. I’m of the philosophy that cultures have been borrowing from each other for millennia; “cultural appropriation” is how noodles from China and tomatoes from South America got together in Italy and gave us delicious, nutritious spaghetti.
But then I see something like this. And I think, “Yeah, maybe the anti-cultural appropriation folks have a point.”
