So I see this cover, and I’m going “I could swear I’ve seen this on here before, or something very like it.” (Pat Powers having “won” a Lousy Award or two in that past, that latter possibility would come as no surprise.) So I looked it up and… well, technically, this is a new cover for old, though you have to lay out both covers in separate tabs and flip quickly from one to the other to spot the slight “improvement” in the background lighting.

Oh yeesh those 3D models are very egregious. Genuinely don’t understand who gets off on that kinda stuff to the extent they think it’s a mighty fine book cover.

in this case, fixing the aspect ratio won’t improve this cover by any significant degree
