I love how the author of Desire Lane apparently decided that the only issue with his cover was that he’d made it using the wrong terrible Amazon template. Surely switching to a different terrible Amazon template will fix everything, right?

(And, for the record, I do think that Terrible Template #2 is marginally better, but he seriously missed the forest for the trees here.)

Desire Lane : For the new cover, I feel the need to rescind my previous positive reinforcement about there not being any type on faces.

Morrigan’s Bidding: If there’s ever a Most Disenlousied award, I’d nominate the new one.

The Seer: I’d also nominate this one in the “Missed it by that much” category, mainly because the location of the pull quote pulls my eye right off the cover.

The Wildes: I nominate this one in the “Most fun to move the slider back and forth” category.

I think I’m going to start saying “Sweet Regency Romance!” instead of “!@$%%$#^%$$#@%@@#$@!”.

I love the lens flare on the new cover of Relative Matter. That was a huge problem during the Regency, so authentic. Desire Lane still has a long way to go before it achieves average.
