I thought that was a UFO abducting/cattle-mutilating the poor horse in the background. Probably a “tell” about my sad taste in reading material.

Am I the only one that thought she had hugely elongated arms, like a Praying Mantis, getting ready to eviscerate/eat her mate, due to the angle of her arms and his quiver? (Or that his quiver also kinda looked like the barrel of a .50 cal?)

The arrows in the quiver appear to be different lengths. It’s been awhile since I used my bow, but to shoot accurately, I had to use arrows of consistent weight and draw length.

It’s been more decades than I should care to mention (cough cough) but yes, even down to the shafting. Various lengths, indeed. Perhaps those are short-distance, medium-distance and long-distance arrows? LOLOL….

I guess they aren’t very good at drawing arrows.
