Fair enough. “Lousy poses on lousy book covers” is probably beyond the scope of this blog.

Though speaking of lousy poses, does it look to anyone else like that girl is in the process of falling over and is about two seconds away from smashing her nose on those rocks on the right?

I still can’t quite figure out what the holy hell that girl is doing. I mean…whut? Is she diving onto some frozen/cement person? On the right there? Is that some frozen/deformed limb, holding her…heels?

This one is tres weird. VERY VERY weird and not in that “can’t wait to see what this is” way, either, unfortunately. I’ll bet you $5.00 that’s what the cover designer thought–that it was so confusing that people would click to see it. I always hate that idea, because it’s always so wrong. And for reasons that elude me, you can never get them to see it, either.

I can only imagine that she’s the literal Axe of Valhalla, and that’s a hand grabbing her ankles and swinging her.

The position of the snake is creepy too.
