My dad operated a Radio & TV Sales & Service shop. Back in the day when radios & TV were repaired. CRT tubes were replaceable. Nowadays if a TV goes out, junk it, buy a new one. I bet a lot of TV thrown out today simply have a fuze blown in the power supply.
