Not only a horrible drawing, and a godawful overall design, but the author has managed to make a steamy murder mystery look like a book for 10-year-olds. (Same comments apply to the many others in the series.)

Choice quotation from Amazon’s Look Inside feature:
“The door was wide open,” Fayrene says. “We just marched right in and I had to sit down on your sexual sofa.”

“A deep-fried farce” and it’s steamy? Yowza. And yes, it does look like a coloring-book for kids.

That sounds like it should be a line from The Rocky Horror Picture Show:

I’m just a sweet transvestite
From Transexual, Transylvania, ha ha

The door was wide open
I just marched right in
And I had to sit down on your sexual sofa.

Here’s a tip if you’re going to use colored pencils. Blending. Get a colored pencil blender or pencil solvent. It might not solve everything but it will get rid of those pencil lines and white spots.

I want to know why the dog is sinking in quicksand, myself. Not sure any colored pencil blender will solve that…
