What disturbs me most is that I have come across some of the featured books before. This is not a situation in which recognition is a desirable experience.

“The Survivors” seems to have gone from a horror novel to a war memoir. And… (checks Amazon) oh, it’s a post-apocalyptic magical fantasy.
The cover for the Kindle edition is different again. Still not good, but at least it suggests some kind of fantasy.
