Just the glow of blossoming Amish love. It’s their superpower.

Are those claims always lies, or does USA Today not have any standards?

I believe the standard translation is, “I had a story in an anthology that made the bestseller list because there was a bunch of other authors in there whose stuff people actually wanted to read.”

Every time I see one of these Amish Romance novels, it makes me think of that “Scene From An Amish Porn Film” comedy sketch I once heard on mp3.com back before the music industry sued that site into oblivion.

“So then I lifted her skirts up above her ankles, and Father, I felt so guilty about it!”

I think the reason it hasn’t been featured here is… the premise sounds rather goofy, I’ll admit, but I think that book’s actually got a pretty good cover.

And the opening isn’t awful. Not exactly gripping, mind yo–but Lord a’mighty, we’ve all seen far worse.
